Reflexology Treatment
A Case History will first be taken including diet, exercise, current and past complaints. Suitable clothing needs to be worn, as the Reflexologist works from the feet up to the knees. After and during the session, you may receive advice on diet, exercise or lifestyle changes and possibly referrals for another modality.
Reactions to the treatment vary according to many factors. On the whole, they are largely very pleasant, leaving the client feeling calm and relaxed or energised and rejuvenated.
A “healing crisis” could be experienced. This is due to the body cleansing itself of toxins and is usually manifested in the eliminating systems – kidneys, bowels, skin and lungs. Drinking fresh water, herbal teas, vegetable juices and a light diet of healthy fresh fruits and vegetables along with rest support the cleansing function leaving one bright eyed and feeling great.
